Rameau and his work

Rameau becomes organist of the Dominican convent in Lyon (the Jacobins).               

Completion of work on the organ of Notre Dame in Dijon ; Lorin replaces Jean-Philippe Rameau as organist, the latter having been in Lyon for the past year.     

The Lyon authorities pay Jean-Philippe Rameau 250 livres for a concert in celebration of the Peace of Utrecht.     

Jean Rameau makes another will, excluding his sons Jean-Philippe and Claude-Bernard as long as they are away from Dijon.

In Lyon Rameau composes a work for the Peace of Utrecht (not performed).
